We regret to report the death of Lois Van Ewijk on January 7th, 2005. This website - her personal website - is now recast to help us remember and appreciate her.

Lois' Obituary is online, as well as a "Guest Book" hosted by San Diego Union Tribune. Please take a few moments to look at them.

We now present online our January 15th 'Remembrance' for Lois. Brother Pat worked with husband Rudy for much of the week before we met with family and friends on the 15th. Pat's remarks set the stage for the celebration, recollections, and music which we now offer for you.

Online presentation of the two cards printed for the 'Remembrance', and of the photographs taken or displayed at that event, still remains to be done. It won't be forgotten. It's just a case of too much work, too little time.We continue to maintain the Seagull Droppings website that Lois had developed for former employees of:
• San Diego Federal Savings & Loan,
• Great American (Federal)(Savings) Bank, and
• Systematics@GAB.
Are there any web-savvy volunteers among you 'seagulls' who would like to take over that website?

Some of the original material on this website - which showed Lois at her weird, wacky, loved, and loving best - has been 'tweaked' and brought back online here for your pleasure. Here it is:

We hope, with this revived website, that we bring back for you some memories of and thoughts about our Lois. Thank you for visiting!
      - Her husband, Rudy Van Ewijk, and
      - Her brother, Patrick Skelly, deputy webmaster.
